Daily Gratitude Exercise
January 9, 2019
Building your capacity for gratitude isn’t difficult. It just takes practice. The more you are able to focus to that which you feel grateful for, the more you will recognise to feel grateful for!
When you first wake up in the morning, in this half-awake, half-asleep state, you start connecting to the source of all good by executing the following three steps:
- You think of minimum ten (10) things / situations you are deeply grateful for.
- You be quiet for some minutes and ask for guidance and clarity for the day.
- You send love and light to those who bother you and you bless all and everything.
You can do this on your own or with your partner. Make this your very first habitual task every morning. Still before you get up or reach for your smartphone.
- Gratitude unshackles us from toxic emotions
- Gratitude helps even if you don’t share it
- Gratitude has lasting effects on the brain
- Gratitude produces a non-toxic chemical cocktail for the body
The thoughts you feed are the ones that grow. So, train your brain to feel the good too and not just the bad. Our world needs more of Self-compassion, calmness, joy, resilience and trust. SUPREME LEADERS live and spread these virtues.
